لجعل ChatGPT يقتبس من موقعك, make your pages crawlable by OpenAI’s search bot (OAI-SearchBot), publish clear answer-first content ChatGPT can quote, get indexed where ChatGPT search looks (often Bing), and earn corroborating mentions elsewhere. Citation is not guaranteed — eligibility is.

لماذا يحدث هذا

ChatGPT with browsing/search does not magically invent sources. It retrieves pages from an index and picks passages that look factual, self-contained, and trustworthy. If OAI-SearchBot is blocked, your HTML is empty to crawlers, or your answer is buried under fluff, you are easy to skip.

مهم: GPTBot (training) and OAI-SearchBot (search/citations) are separate. Blocking GPTBot does not by itself remove citation eligibility; blocking OAI-SearchBot does.

خطوات عملية

  1. Allow citation crawlers in /robots.txt — at minimum OAI-SearchBot and ChatGPT-User. Keep a Sitemap line.
  2. Confirm HTML is visible without heavy client-only rendering (curl your URL and see real text).
  3. Write answer-first pages — H1 as the question; first 40–80 words = the direct answer; then steps and FAQ.
  4. Add schema — Organization + FAQPage (and Article where relevant).
  5. Submit sitemaps to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools (ChatGPT search is widely reported to lean on Bing’s index).
  6. Earn third-party mentions — directories, posts, and reviews that name your brand + domain.
  7. Re-test monthly — ask ChatGPT your target prompt and note whether you are cited.

  • Blocking all OpenAI bots while hoping for ChatGPT citations
  • Only optimizing Google and ignoring Bing indexing
  • Storytelling intros with no extractable answer capsule
  • No entity consistency (different brand names everywhere)

Will ChatGPT always cite me after this? No. You become eligible and competitive; authority and corroboration still matter.

Is llms.txt enough? No. Treat it as a helpful map; crawler access and citeable passages matter more.
